Conspiracies II - Lethal Networks 5th International interdisciplinary conference on Philosophy of Computer Games

Animappd-interactive presented its new game Conspiracies II – Lethal Networks at the 5th International interdisciplinary conference on Philosophy of Computer Games, 6-9 April 2011, organized by the New Communication Media Laboratory and the Department of Communication, Media and Culture of Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences (6-9 April 2011, Panteion University, Athens-Gr). The presentation was held during the last day of the Conference (9th of April 2011), devoted to the HGDA (Hellenic Game Developers Association, http://www.hgda.gr) under the title «Being Nick Delios or The creation of the FMV adventure games Conspiracies & Conspiracies ΙΙ» and discussed the creation of the Conspiracies games characters, worlds and locations, their cultural references along with the challenges and problems related to the development of an FMV adventure game in Greece. During Anima’s presentation shots from the new game Conspiracies II, were presented and a vivid discussion between the speakers and the audience (scholars, game developers and players, journalists) followed concerning the difficulties and challenges of FMV adventure game development and also about Anima’s future plans.

Η Animappd-interactive παρουσίασε το νέο της παιχνίδι Συνωμοσίες ΙΙ- Φονικά δίκτυα στο 5ο Διεθνές Διεπιστημονικό Συνέδριο για τη Φιλοσοφία των Computer Games, που διοργάνωσε το Εργαστήριο Νέων Μέσων Επικοινωνίας και το Τμήμα Επικοινωνίας, Μέσων και Πολιτισμού του Παντείου Πανεπιστημίου Κοινωνικών και Πολιτικών Επιστημών (6-9 Απριλίου 2011, Πάντειο Πανεπιστήμιο, Αθήνα). Tην τελευταία μέρα του Συνεδρίου (9.4.2011), η οποία ήταν αφιερωμένη στην HGDA (Hellenic Game Developers Association -Πανελλήνιος Σύλλογος Δημιουργών Λογισμικού Ψυχαγωγίας, http://www.hgda.gr) παρουσιάστηκε η εισήγηση της Animappd-interactive με τίτλο «Being Nick Delios or The creation of the FMV adventure games Conspiracies & Conspiracies ΙΙ». Σ’ αυτήν παρουσιάστηκε η λογική της δημιουργίας των χαρακτήρων του παιχνιδιού, των κόσμων και των τοποθεσιών του, των πολιτισμικών αναφορών του αλλά επίσης παρουσιάστηκαν και οι προκλήσεις και τα προβλήματα της ανάπτυξης FMV παιχνιδιών περιπέτειας για Η/Υ στην Ελλάδα. Παράλληλα προβλήθηκαν σκηνές από το νέο παιχνίδι (Συνωμοσίες ΙΙ- Φονικά δίκτυα) και επακολούθησε συζήτηση ανάμεσα στους ομιλητές και το κοινό (που αποτελούνταν από πανεπιστημιακούς, δημιουργούς και παίκτες παιχνιδιών, δημοσιογράφους) με πολλές ερωτήσεις και προβληματισμούς επάνω στις δυσκολίες δημιουργίας τέτοιου είδους παιχνιδιών αλλά και στα μελλοντικά σχέδια της Animappd-interactive.
